This page configures the seismic overlays used in AstRADAR. The overlays are informational tags only (no impact on core scores). Data sources: USGS GeoJSON earthquake feeds.

Local + global overlay settings

Enable local (distance-aware) tags Local distance (km) Local minimum magnitude Local time window (hours)

Local tags only trigger for events within the distance/time window around each location.

Enable global tags Global minimum magnitude Global time window (hours) Global max events (for tags)

Global tags ignore distance and summarize recent worldwide activity.

Defaults favor local (distance-aware) context; global tags are optional and can be enabled here.
